Review - Seven Days Till Forever by Lindy Dale

Book Cover

Blurb:
Part 4 of the SEVEN DAYS series.
A baby. A proposal. A death. A reunion.
What the hell more can possibly happen to Sadie?
Sadie and Nicholas are one loved up couple. The baby is on the way, they're engaged and Sadie has rekindled her friendship with Emily.
But good fortune never lasts for long and even when he stays away, Joel manages to impact on their lives, causing Sadie and Nicholas to argue. The couple love each other to the ends of the earth but the birth of a baby can't ensure them the happiness they crave.

About the Author:
Lindy began writing at University but never really wanted to be 'an author'. She wanted to be a princess or at worst a Kindergarten teacher. Her first novel, Heart of Glass, was penned in 2006 and since then she has become known for writing funny, forthright romantic fiction with a cast of crazy, comic characters in outrageous situations - many of which have actually occurred in her life. Lindy is also well-known for her romantic novellas which have repeatedly topped the short stories charts in the US and UK. She gains most of her inspiration from her dreams, listening to music and watching ridiculous amounts of reality TV. My Take on the Book:
I've followed this series from book one. Sadie seemed to deteriorate in this novella, though I'm not sure if it was because of some situations in the novella, or if it was another part of her character or personality coming through. She seemed to have a little more adolescent-like behaviour in this one. I enjoyed reading about the ultrasound scan scene, and where Sadie and Emily go wedding dress shopping (I'm glad that they rekindled their friendship). I also thought that there could have been a bit of foreshadowing in one or two scenes. I gave this novella a three star rating.

Last Word:
It would be interesting to read the last book in the series, to see how it ends. Please be sure to support the author by buying their books and connecting with them on social media.

Enjoy,
Carmen.
